Cruising Through Chanel In Dubai

Arabian fever for Chanel resort 2015 collection which took place at home in Dubai. For every resort/cruise collection, Karl Lagerfeld creates designs influenced by the location. We've had Coco Chanel hometown Cannes, then denim home Texas, to Moscow, and now Dubai. Inspired by the local dressing of the shomaj (patterned head gear), harlem pants and Aladdin slippers. Lagerfeld went all out representing a middle eastern collection, with a twist of western. Is this a hit or miss? I do love the moon accessories.

Valentino Couture Spring 2014

Valentino couture spring 2014, was absolutely divine. Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli were inspired by opera, and from the looks of it wild animals. Valentino executes beautiful rich fabrics - organza capes, silk crepe and romantic tulle dresses. Effortless dreamy lace designs, a magical collection.

Jeremy Scott Takes On Moschino

Funky designer Jeremy Scott has been announced to become creative director for Moschino. What a perfect match, Jeremy being quite characteristic with his own designs - bringing cartoon prints such as The Simpsons, he will work pretty well with Moschino's hearts and bows.
Jeremy will continue to work on his own brand as well as Moschino and we get to see both collections, next fashion week in February. What will the eccentric designer have in store for us!

Alexander Wang Spring Summer 2014 NY Fashion Week

High school meets college girl for Alexander Wang spring summer 2014 collection. Not even 30 yet, and Wang has a household brand A-listers crave, and is creative director to one of the oldest and innovative fashion house, Balenciaga. But for next season Wang's line is full of symmetrical open shirts, bare stomachs, micro skirts and logo tops. Wang even thought about an oufit for 'walk of shame' boxer shorts.
