Alexander Wang should give himself a pat on the back for the brilliant collection he created for Balenciaga's fall 2013. Paris will be applauding Wang, as he remained loyal to what former creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere designed. Throughout the collection Wang kept it simple with the colours sticking to white and black, but focusing more on the shapes and details of the cuts. Personally I like the fact that Balenciaga in general has quite a masculine tone, yet it can suit any 'fashionforward' woman. Bravo Wang!!!
Must admit I'm not usually a fan of Mugler's collections but for next season I've had a change of heart. Instead of going all dark for fall, Mugler went for pastel colours, midriff and some tight leather. Not sure about the hoods/headpieces, bit too duckie for me, but then what's a Mugler collection without something strange.
Everywhere I look I see overalls, from street style to runways. The design first popped up at the farms then moved to the runways now its hitting the streets. Question is would you wear them? Just annoying when you need the bathroom.
Would you wear overalls?

Fashion week has hit its final destination in the land of the Parisians. From feminine 50s inspiration from Milan to rock chic leather and chains for Anthony Vaccarello in Paris. It was all about symmetrical cuts and sharp collars, all I can think of is the 90s with this collection.
