Milan Fall 2014 Fashion Week : Gucci

Fashion week continues to it's next fashion capital Milan for fall 2014. First up Gucci, oh how you've hypnotised me with your blues. It was back to the sixties for Frida Giannini who bought back a casual side with blue jeans, dolly sleeveless dresses with above-the-knee hem. Soft pastels instead of harsh wintery colours (to be fair haven't seen much dark shades on the runway), cool drainpipe pants to the ankles, with some smart tailoring leather shirts. The collection was just jaw-dropping, just look at the green shades...

Next Stop Milan Spring Summer 2014 Fashion Week

We travel to Milan for spring summer 2014 at fashion week. First to hit the runway was Frida Giannini for Gucci. Taking a different approach from fall's Hitchcock heroine theme, Frida took a softer look. Models were more natural, make-up free with slick back hair. The designs concentrated on the disco era, bring back sheer and kimonos. With alot of plum, gold and oranges it was a complete difference to the colour palette of London.

The Sounds Of Change

Sound of Change or sound of Gucci? The music event Chime for Change would've never happened if it wasn't for Salma Hayek teaming up with creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini to support female empowerment campaign. Frida who founded the new global campaign approached stars such as Freida Pinto and Blake Lively (who is one of Gucci's representitives) to be part. Inspirational female musicians such as Beyonce, Florence + the machine, Elie Goulding, Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and more took the stage for the charitable cause.

In Depth With Gucci

What an afternoon delight, up close and personal with Gucci's fall 2013. With exquisite pieces from autumns collection it was difficult to pick a favourite. From the fine detailed craftsmanship, that took 500 hours to create a feathered gown with embroidered winglike patterns to the skindeep python suit skirt. Creative designer Frida Giannini brought out a darker side in this collection, still very much feminine but with an edge.

Midnight Blues For Gucci At Milan Fall 2013 FW

Dark colours ruled the catwalk at Gucci's fall 2013 collection at Milan's fashion week. Some killer boots to be thinking about next winter, aswell as feathered dresses. Interesting I'm spotting some very low necklines for next season's trend. You ready for it?
