Balmain Safari Inspired Fall 2014 Paris Fashion Show

Balmain's Olivier Rousteing showcased some gorgeous safari pieces for fall 2014 at Paris fashion week. With a front row full of A-listers, Balmain bought the house down with leather, wild animal prints and pleated skirts. Still sticking to the brand signature 80s vibe the collection was a success and you just know Rihanna is somewhere in the crowd wearing one of his designs.

Rihanna The Face Of Balmain

A match made in heaven, Rihanna for Balmain. WWD revealed, Rihanna is the new face of the brands spring/summer 2014 campaign ad. 

Creative director Olivier Rousteing seemed very pleased with the choice, "When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete," he added, describing the "icon" of his generation as uncompromising, fresh and modern. 

Never was there a more suitable face for Balmain, than Rihanna, the pop star and fashion icon already has an 80s vibe.

Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing tooks us back to the late 80s once again at Paris fashion week. Just when you thought over-sized shoulderpad jackets were out, Olivier stretches and rounds those shoulders. This collection brings out your sexiness with the short crochet dresses, Mc hammer pants mixed with cropped tops and some skimmpy leather outfits. Balmain has remained one of the 'must see' shows of the week!
