Let's Head To The Punk Theme Met Gala 2013

As my invite mysteriously got lost in the mail (one can wish) watching the redcarpet online is the next best thing. Must admit not impressed with the 'punk' theme, seems like very few actually took it seriously. Flaunting pretty gowns instead of David Bowie/Blondie inspired dresses. Although Nicole Richie and Sarah Jessica Parker you stole the spot light!

Ding!Ding! We have a winner Nicole Richie in can you believe it TOPSHOP

Ginnifer Goodwin is heavy metal in Tory Burch

Someone plllleaaase remind Madonna she's old and passed her sell by date

Kirsten Stewart attitude screams punk in Stella McCartney

How is this 'Punk' Amber Heard in Pucci (do love the dress)

Blonde Anna Hathway finally went Vintage Valentino

Again not going with the theme Ashley Greene in Marchesa

This Givenchy dress does no justice to Beyonce's volumptious body instead she looks like she's wrapped in a carpet and squeezed into a tube. Not impressed!

Was soo looking forward to seeing Gywneth Paltrow go punk,
instead she went pretty in pink with Valentino

When celebrities do NO justice to designer clothes, Kim Kardashian in Givenchy (Riccardo how could you consent to this) Kanya looking sharp as always

Ah Miley Cyrus got the memo 'punk theme' in Marc Jacobs

God save the queen Katy Perry in Dolce & Gabbana

Taylor Swift is punkish in J Mendal although heavy make up doesn't count

Nina Dobrev in Monique Lhullier (wanted to see more punk)

Torn between Nicole and Sarah Jessica Parker in Giles, she never disappoints!

Rooney Mara looks heavenly in Givenchy

Cara Delevingne is studded out in Burberry

open mouthed Jennifer Lopez in Michael Kors
