Cruising Through Dior 2014 Collection

Raf Simons turned heads in Monte Carlo, Monaco de Paris hotel for Dior's cruise 2014 collection. Tailored suits, floaty gorgeous summer dresses and sheer elegance. Ah and lets not forget the incredible must have shoes! Simons has kept Dior's standards high, sophisticated and trendy but it does remind me alot of Raf back at Jil Sander.

Walk The Catwalk At Dior Raf Simons

Couture week continues... Since the departure of John Galliano at Dior 18months ago, everyone has been anticipating who will take over as creative director, and who will carry on the Dior couture legacy? Well no longer do we need to wait as Raf Simons former creative director of Jil Sander took over the reigns of Dior 4months ago, and showcased his first collection at couture week.

The crowed watched as Simons sent out his couture collection. The designs had a 1950s feel, the hemlines were above the ankle, the bustiers was sexy and elegant and the nude colours were feminine.

You think Anna Wintour was impressed with Raf Simons first Dior collection? Or misses Galliano like I do?
