When you hear the word Birkenstock 'ugly' comes to mind. Well that's all changing this season, as it's one of the key trends and we better get used to it. It seems designers, models, and anybody on the streets is wearing the look. Thankfully only a few people have been spotted wearing it with socks, don't they realise its just plain UGLY. Some designers have made the sandal somewhat wearable, but I doubt you'll see me in one of them. No matter how comfy they look, no wonder men hate fashion!

Sweet Like Honey

There's something about this new Jacobs Honey fragrance, not sure if its the uber cute packaging or the fact it smells sweet and not in the overpowering way. It has a pleasant and feminine after smell, I quite like the balance of sweetness -honeysuckle, vanilla and woods scent. Ever since spraying some Marc Jacobs Honey, I've neglected my other perfumes. It's my new scent! 

Will Louis Vuitton Name Nicolas Ghesquiere As Creative Director

Word on the street, Louis Vuitton will announce ex Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, as Marc Jacobs successor. Jacobs departure as creative director was a bit of a shock, LV didn't waste time to find a replacement.

Ghesquiere left his position at Balenciaga a year ago and since then been looking for the perfect move. Question is will Ghesquiere continue to bring that classy, feminine 50s feel to the brand? 

Well we just have to wait and see next season. I should get a medal for my sixth sense!

Farewell Marc Jacobs For Louis Vuitton - S'S 14

Marc Jacobs bids farwell as creative director for Louis Vuitton. After 16 years of extraodinary collections, Marc Jacobs waved his good bye at his last show this morning, for spring summer 2014 in Paris. Earlier this year, there had been speculation regarding Jacobs contract at Louis Vuitton, although there hasn't been much gossip, Jacob wants to concentrate mainly on his own brand.

 With a standing ovation the designer showcased all black and denim for his last season at Vuitton. With some fabulous feathered head gear, cropped midriff, silk ruffles and jewels this was no ordinary final show for Jacobs. 

So long MJ, I wander whose next to take on your role, Nicolas Ghesquiere perhaps?
