It's a new beginning for Nicolas Ghesquiere at Louis Vuitton. Last season we saw the end of Marc Jacobs era at LV, who was the first to introduce ready-to-wear at the fashion house. After stepping down it was quite nerve racking to hear who would take over, when announced Nicolas Ghesquiere, it was a relief. Now we see Ghesquiere first collection, inspired by the 60s he bought his edgy 'Balenciaga' vibe to the designs, with short mini dresses, skirts, tight pants and thick double tied belts. I think its safe to say next season is all about leather with a bit of tweed.
Well I think Nicolas deserves around of applause for re-vamping the brand to a more fresher audience.
